Brenda;Your picture takes me back to the early '50s and my Pee Wee/Bantam hockey days .What a thrill it was to play under the bright lights of the Minnesota Park (Fort William Ont.) outdoor rink . The cold crisp nights produced beautiful ice conditions that made distinct sounds from the sharp blades cutting into the newly flooded surface. When each period was over, both teams would pile into the shack to get warm and have a drink, with a tin a dipper, of ice cold water drawn from a communal pail. We all would walk to and from the game and crashed when we got home. Ahh, those were the days.....
